Metabolism starts in the gut
The gut ecosystem plays a direct role in metabolism — in how the body processes food and regulates blood glucose levels. Beneficial bacteria feed on fermentable fibres; during fermentation, they produce postbiotics — biologically active compounds that can influence processes throughout the body.
This formula combines three types of fibre with two micronutrients targeted at metabolic function, together with polyphenols to support the gut environment.
Glucomannan — the fibre with an authorised claim
Glucomannan is a naturally occurring soluble fibre derived from konjac root. In water, it expands many times its original volume and forms a viscous gel, which is why it is taken before meals with plenty of water.
It is one of the few fibres with an officially recognised EFSA health claim.
Akkermansia muciniphila — a key bacterium for the gut environment
Akkermansia muciniphila lives within the mucus layer of the colon and is involved in its renewal. It is among the most extensively studied bacteria in relation to metabolic health.
Because Akkermansia is strictly anaerobic, a practical approach is to provide the environment and nutrients that may support its presence.

Chicory inulin — 9 g
A prebiotic fibre that feeds beneficial bacteria in the colon and can support their growth.
Partially hydrolysed guar gum (PHGG) — 2 g
A gentle, well-tolerated soluble fibre that helps balance the formula.
Polyphenol blend: cranberry + pomegranate
Standardised polyphenols that support the environment in which beneficial anaerobic bacteria thrive.

Directions for use
Mix the recommended serving into approximately 200–250 ml of water and drink before a meal, with sufficient water. The daily amount is divided into three servings — one before breakfast, one before lunch, one before dinner — each providing 1 g of glucomannan.
Start gradually to allow your digestive system to adjust to the fibre intake.
Changes in the gut microbiota take time. A regular intake period of at least 8 weeks is therefore a reasonable approach, as part of a calorie-restricted, balanced diet.
Important information
Take with sufficient water. Consuming the product without adequate fluid may cause choking. Do not use if you have difficulty swallowing or narrowing of the oesophagus or gastrointestinal tract. Do not take immediately before bedtime.
Not suitable for children under 12 years of age, pregnant women, or breastfeeding women.
